Beyond the record, this confirms that the new guidance system allowing wider ships (from 24 m to 27.4 m) to pass through the locks at Ouistreham meets the new standards of world traffic and the objective that motivated this heavy investment: to sustain the economic future of the port of Caen-Ouistreham.
