Sonia Dubes, president of Normandie Manutention, was elected president of Logistique Seine Normandie (LSN). She succeeds Alain Verna, president from 2013 to 2020. Sonia Dubes joined Normandie Manutention 30 years ago, following a course in medicine, a DUT in chemistry, then a stint at Néoma Business School. "It's an atypical, but very constructive course, which allowed me to know how to bounce back and accept to follow new paths," she analyzes. Sonia Dubes worked for 10 years as commercial director of Normandie Manutention before taking over the management, strongly developing the company, from 60 employees and 10 M € in turnover to 247 people and 97 M €. Normandy Handling has 6 agencies in Normandy. The holding company headed by Sonia Dubes also bought out Axyom (formerly Régis BTP). “I have always been involved in regional economic development, in the life of companies,” comments Sonia Dubes. "It is even more important with the current health situation: it is crucial to open up, to engage in constructive and collective approaches. This is essential for companies, for customers and for employees: working collaboratively is becoming essential. LSN, a transversal sector, has all the assets to develop the skills of all the players, coming from different backgrounds and seeking to move upmarket. On the occasion of her election, Sonia Dubes affirmed her intention to "create links" within LSN. She wants to bring "ideas for action in the field of service delivery" and develop the "innovation" aspect. It intends to quickly get closer to local communities and other sectors: "LSN, a transversal sector is legitimate to speak to all other sectors of activity. It is essential to exchange and share in order to identify common projects that are beneficial for the Normandy ecosystem. "The new president also plans to" provide the best support to companies so that they are less dependent on international markets, by helping them to think about the reorganization of their logistics chain, and with a greater focus on local supplies " .
